Surprised

In today's world of greed and Dil Mange More, came across a incidence that surprised and made aware that its possibly because of people like him, human race is still in good hands how few though.

 

The incident goes like :

 

I run out of an Ayurvedic medicine and its not available in the city that I stay in. I consult a doctor who prescribed medicine and he states his inability to give an alternative possibly available in this another city. Since this medicine has helped me reign in my Diabetes, I am ready to order to from Native city, with some additional charges.

 

I google and get the name of the company that produces this medicine and call him up on the number given. To my surprise person on other end takes down name and quantity of medicine required to be couriered and asks me to SMS my address. Upon enquiring on the cost, comes the reply, I will know once I get the courier. I SMS him my address in the hope of not ending up paying some extravagent amount for them.

 

In 3 days time, there is a courier delivering the medicine with bill and account number to which I am asked to transfer the said amount online. To my utter surprise the amount quoted is much less than expected and almost same or lesser had I bought those from my regular medicine shop at my native place.

 

And to top this there is no phone or sms asking me to deposit amount immediately...... Person could have quoted an amount at minimum double what he did and I would have happily paid him that, but he chose not to do that, giving confidence that there are people who still don't charge exorbitant prices even though its their exclusive product.
